The Boone County Conservation District turned back time Sunday.
The 32nd annual Autumn Pioneer Festival took place in Belvidere. People from all over the region learn what life was like here when first settled. Visitors got a lesson from the blacksmith and took tours through two authentic 19th century cabins.
Organizers say it's a living history program. There are people interpreting two log cabins with an 1860's era replica of a school house.
About 20,000 people attended this weekends event.
