Police investigate Freeport bank robbery


Stephenson County Sheriff's Police investigate after a Freeport bank is robbed at gunpoint.

Deputies were called to the Kent Bank location at 996 West Fairview Road a little after 1pm.  A man wearing a blue ski mask walked into the bank, showed a hand gun and demanded cash.  He left on a motorcycle and was last seen heading east on West Fairview Road.  Police have surveillance pictures of the suspect and are expected to release them Friday.
