ROCKFORD (WREX) -

Rockford police are looking for a man they say is responsible for the murder of 22-year-old Jordan M. Bounsinh.

Bounsinh was shot around 2:15 a.m. Saturday at the Mobil gas station across from SwedishAmerican Hospital at 1344 East State Street. Investigation showed two men had an argument inside the station, which then continued outside where shots were fired. Bounsinh was brought a local hospital by friends where he was pronounced dead at 10:25 a.m.

An autopsy showed Bounsinh died of a gunshot wound to the head.

Police have charged 19-year-old Tronte D. Pickett with Attempted First Degree Murder. Anyone with information on Pickett's whereabouts should call Rockford police at 815-987-5824 or CrimeStoppers at 815-963-7867.

Rockford police are not officially releasing a photograph of Pickett at this time due to the ongoing nature of the investigation. Additional charges are being reviewed in the wake of Bounsinh's death.
