RVC wants community input on new president

Rock Valley College wants the public's input on its next president. The college held a press forum Monday night and invited residents. The board of trustees listened to people's opinions about the personal qualities they want the future president to have.

"I'm hoping that we will you know find a president who understands the value of these things, the value to the community, as we as the educational mission of the college and the value to the students," said Cathy Herdeman, a Rock Valley College music teacher.

If you missed Monday's meeting, RVC is hosting another one Tuesday from 12 pm to 1 pm.
