An informational meeting on Boone County's Law Career Exploring Program will be held Tuesday evening for kids and parents interested in the field of law.
The program is a partnership between Boone County State's Attorney Michelle Courier and the Blackhawk Area Council for kids between the ages of 14 and 20. During the bi-weekly program, participants will learn about law careers through presentations and hands-on activities led by professionals and attorneys.
The informational session will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 17, at Belvidere North High School. There, students will learn more about the program and have the opportunity to register. The program is $15.
