The Winnebago County Animal Services Volunteer Auxiliary hosted the Canine Classic Dog Fair on Sunday.

It last from 10-4 at Sportscore One. All proceeds from the event cover medical expenses for animals housed at the Animal Services shelter while they wait for adoption.

There was plenty going on at the fair. Activities included a police K9 and sled dog demonstrations, dog line dancing, a dog parade and even an agility course.

Over 40 vendors came out including groomers, accessories, and rescue groups. Everyone and their dogs were welcome but the shelter made sure to have requirements on rabies tags. All dogs were on leashes
