The Third Annual Walk for Ben: Steps for a Cure was held at Winnebago High School Athletic Stadium on Saturday.

The walk raises money for Make a Wish Foundation and goes toward finding a cure for Neuroblastoma, a form of childhood cancer. The Ben Inspired Foundation sponsors the event each year with Winnebago High School students, staff and athletic teams participating in the walk.

The community comes out in full force for this event.

The Ben-Inspired Foundation hosts two fundraising events annually as well as partners with Winnebago School District to host the Make a Difference Week each spring.

The group hopes to get funds raised towards sponsoring trips for terminally ill children through Make-A-Wish and the money raised for UW Madison Neuroblastoma research.
