Thomas Kossow's mother to be arraigned for his murder


The Rockford mother, accused of killing her own son, will be arraigned next month.  Jody Kossow made her first appearance in Winnebago County Court Wednesday afternoon.

The 39-year-old faces charges for stabbing Thomas Kossow to death in the early morning hours of September 10th. The 8-year-old was found in the driveway of his home at 228 Woodrow Avenue.   

Kossow faces First Degree Murder Charges and is scheduled to be formally arraigned October 10th in front of Judge Rosemary Collins.

A memorial fund has been set up at Associated Bank to help the Kossow family pay for Thomas' funeral.  You can donate at any branch location.
