Warrants out for August shooting in Rockford


Rockford police have warrants for a couple of people they say are responsible for a shooting last month.

Someone shot a 25-year-old man, August 23rd, in the 3200 block of West Gate Parkway.  He was hit in the upper back, and survived.

Investigators say 2 men are responsible: 21-year-old Daniel Ibarra-Cornado and 20-year-old Miguel Cantu.  They're both charged with Attempted Armed Robbery and Aggravated Battery with a Firearm.
