Caledonia Elementary School students are experiencing a new take on Physical Education.
Some third grade classes at the school have implement the SPARK curriculum, which uses games and activities that keep kids moving continually instead of leaving wait before being called to participate.
"In some of the traditional gym classes, a lot of the kids are left out, and in SPARK, everybody's active all the time and everybody feels successful," Caledonia P.E. teacher John DeVries explained.
DeVries said the program also allows for traditional Physical Education classes like basketball and soccer.
