Starting Tuesday, September 3, Lifescape Community Services will accept applications for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP).
Applications will be taken from seniors 60 and older and heads of households who are disabled. You can call 815-963-1609 starting at 8:00 a.m. Tuesday. Appointments will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. No walk-in appointments will be accepted.
LIHEAP is available to residents of Winnebago and Boone counties who meet income requirements. For more information and eligibility requirements, visit www.lifescapeservices.org.
