Aquin Looks for More Success

Aquin's football team is ready to take the field Friday night. The Bulldogs went 7-1 in the NUIC Upstate Conference last year, losing to Stockton in the final week in a de facto conference championship game. This year, they're hungry for more success.

"The kids are anxious," Aquin head coach Todd Kramer said. "They've been banging on each other for the last three weeks. The kids are getting to that point where it's time to play against somebody else."

That somebody else in week one is Ashton-Franklin Center. The Bulldogs lost some key weapons from last year's team, namely quarterback Nolan Brannick.

But they're confident they can make a strong run again this season.
