Ken-Rock classes for adults

Posted:
ROCKFORD (WREX) -

Fall classes aren't just for children and young adults. Ken Rock Community Center is accepting registration for its free Ken-Rock University classes.

There will be a number of classes from how to talk to your kids about growing up, using your iPhone, and a basic course called computer 101.

"They can take it, see if they like it, and they can continue their education later. We have Microsoft Word and Excel. We have resume classes, so that will help people find jobs," said Carrie Schneberger, Ken-Rock Community Center Program Director.

Those interested in taking courses at Ken-Rock can call the center at (815) 398-8864 for more information.
