Motorcyclist hit by truck, sent to hospital


A man is in the hospital with non-life threatening injuries after he was hit by a truck Monday afternoon in Rockford.

The incident took place at the intersection of Pelly Rd. and S. Main St.  According to police, the motorcyclist was traveling north on S. Main St and the truck was traveling south.  The truck attempted to make a turn onto Pelly when it struck the motorcycle.

The motorcyclist was wearing a helmet.
