Changes coming to DeKalb's Corn Fest

Posted:
DEKALB (WREX) -

It's almost time for DeKalb's 36th annual Corn Fest, but this year some things will be different.

Instead of taking place at the DeKalb Municipal Airport, the festivities will be moved downtown between 1st and 4th Streets. In addition, the festival won't be held during Northern Illinois University's move-in week, but will be held from August 30 to September 1. Lincoln Highway through downtown DeKalb will shut down at 3:00 p.m. Thursday August 29 through the end of the festival on Sunday.
