Montgomery man arrested on crystal meth charges


A Montgomery man was arrested Friday evening after sheriff's police say they found crystal meth inside his car.

42-year-old Jaime Tan Francisco Jr. was stopped for a registration violation by the Dekalb County Sheriff's deputy. He was pulled over in the Village of Shabbona on Highway 30. The deputy noticed a substance believed to be crystal methamphetamine.

Francisco is charged with unlawful possession of methamphetamine and obstruction of justice. He's being held in the Dekalb County Jail pending a bond hearing.
