Illinois State Treasurer Dan Rutherford and his team made a stop at a Loves Park Rotary Club meeting Tuesday to see if members had any unclaimed property.
The visit was part of the treasury office's I-Cash program, which matches Illinois residents with unclaimed property like unpaid wages or commissions, money from inactive checking or savings accounts, money orders, stocks and mutual funds, or even contents of safe deposit boxes.
Rutherford made a brief statement at the meeting before his staff helped members find out if any property could be matched to them.
Rutherford and the I-Cash team will also appear at a Rockford Rotary Club meeting Wednesday morning at Stockholm Inn.
