Shooting leaves two women injured in Rockford


Two women are injured after a shooting on Rockford's south-east side.

Police say it happened hear 15th Ave. and Birch Ct. One woman was grazed by a bullet in the arm. Another bullet ricocheted and hit a woman in the face while she was in her kitchen.

Investigators say both injuries are non-life threatening. Police are looking for a suspect driving a red Dodge Durango. If you have any information, call Rockford Police or Crime Stoppers at (815) 987-5863.
