Janesville Woman Dies in Fatal Car Crash

Rock County police respond to a fatal car crash.

Wednesday around 2 PM deputies from the Rock County Sheriff's Office responded to a rollover crash on South Summerville Road near the overpass for Interstate 43 in Clinton Township.

46-year-old Sokhon Pek of Janesville was driving a 2006 Kia Optima on South Summerville Road when she lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle entered a ditch and rolled over multiple times. Sokhon Pek and front seat passenger 38-year-old Pea Pek of Janesville were transported to Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center with non-life threatening injuries. Backseat passenger, 45-year-old Loeun Oeun of Janesville was not wearing her seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Wisconsin State Patrol responded to reconstruct the crash. The crash remains under investigation at this time.
