Rockford bank robbed, suspect description released

ROCKFORD (WREX) -

Just before 4 p.m. Friday, Rockford police officers responded to a bank robbery at Associated Bank, 612 North Main Street.

Investigators are looking for suspect described as a black male in his 60's with graying hair, a blue hat, white t-shirt and blue shorts. Police say he entered the bank and went up to a clerk, he didn't display a weapon but demanded money, then left and headed in a Southwest direction on foot.
