Posted: Updated:

Art lovers are in luck this weekend as the Rockton Quilt Show kicks off this weekend.

The Rockton Township Historical  Museum's 2013 Quilt Show features a wide variety of pieces including hand sewn, embroidered, and  machine quilted.

There are plenty of historical pieces to check out including some that date back to the 1800s.

"We have some that are very historical. The oldest one in our collection was made in England between 1800 and 1805. We have an 1888 quilt. We have some crazy quilts and then we have some very modern day quilts," said Marilyn Mohring with the Rockton Historical Society.

The Quilt Show runs from 10am to 2pm every Saturday through September 21st.
