UPDATE: Overnight shooting victim dies at local hospital

UPDATE:

According to Rockford Police, 27-year-old Semarin Dubois has died at a local hospital as a result of being shot in the head.  We will have the complete story coming up on 13 News at 5 and 6.

PREVIOUS STORY:

Rockford Police identify 27 year old Semarin Dubois as the shooting victim. Dubois was shot in the head. He's currently listed in critical condition at a local hospital.

A Fourth of July party ends abruptly after one person is shot.

According to Rockford Police, a man in his late-20's is now in critical condition at a local hospital.
Around 11:30 Thursday night officers were called to the 300 block of South Henrietta Avenue for a shooting. There is no suspect information at this time.  We'll have more information as it becomes available.
