Canine competition has dogs running and jumping across town

The finest athletes on all fours met in Loves Park this weekend to show off their skills.

It was the American Kennel Club Agility Trial.  Hundreds of pups ran and jumped through an obstacle course at the Forest City Dog Training Club.

Dogs were split up into categories, each category with its own time limit.  One Bartlett resident had what felt like a record day with his canine.

"It's really good to have a good dog when you're out there competing, it makes you feel really good watching her run and watching a lot of the other dogs, too."

A good enough time could get you and your dog qualified for both national and invitational tournaments.
