Biker advocates benefit from fundraiser at Whiskey's


An advocacy group aimed at protecting motorcycle riders in the Kishwaukee Valley benefited from live music at a fundraiser Saturday night.

Rockin' For a Cause takes place every year.  This year, due to the type of music, the group set up shop at Whiskey's Roadhouse in Rockford.

The cause, Kishwaukee Valley chapter of A.B.A.T.E, the advocate for motorcycles.

Many local acts like Heavyflow, Modfire and more lead up to National Touring Act Nigel Dupree as seen on Full Throttle Saloon.

The concerts lasted from three in the afternoon to close.  Early in the day organizers said it was the biggest crowd they'd seen.
