Rain didn't hinder an area support group from raising awareness about a mysterious illness on Saturday.
The Rockford/DeKalb Area Lupus support group still worked to bring attention to a disease that affects many in the Rockford area.
Organizer Shaunda Anderson says her daughter, diagnosed with Lupus, is the inspiration for the movement.
The Rockford Lupus Support Group is officially recognized on the Lupus Foundation of America's web site as well. You can find information there on how to donate to the cause: http://www.lupus.org/webmodules/webarticlesnet/templates/illinois_donate.aspx?articleid=5092&zoneid=103
