Rockford school leaders chip in for Sharefest

Rockford Public School's top two administrators trade in their suits and ties for t-shirts and paint brushes.

Superintendent Dr. Ehren Jarrett and Assistant Superintendent Matt Vosberg volunteered some time at Jefferson High School for Sharefest. The massive face-lift project is getting close to being done. Dr. Jarrett has been part of previous Sharefests, and says he can't thank the community enough for it's efforts to improve the schools.

"The community is so behind our school district with our Sharefest initiative the least I can do is be out here and help out and grab a paint brush myself, so I'm just so motivated and excited with what I see here," said Jarrett.

Sharefest wraps up Saturday.
