(AP) -- A 28-year-old Billings man charged with kidnapping an Illinois man and his girlfriend from a motel, robbing them and killing the man has reached a plea agreement that calls for him to spend the rest of his life in prison.
Simon Jacobson pleaded guilty Friday to aggravated kidnapping and deliberate homicide. Jacobson told District Judge Gregory Todd he didn't feel he deserved the possibility of parole.
Prosecutors allege Jacobson came up with the plan for him and a co-defendant to pose as FBI agents to break into a motel room on Jan. 17, and force Dejuan Laster of Rockford, Ill., and his girlfriend into separate vehicles at gunpoint.
The woman was later released and reported the abduction. Laster's body was found in a culvert. He had been shot.
