The case against a Rockford mom, charged with killing her newborn baby, moves forward.
It looks like Tina LaMonica will enter a plea in a couple of weeks. That was supposed to happen Tuesday in court, but LaMonica's attorney asked for more time to fine tune the sentencing details. LaMonica faces first degree murder charges. Police say she did cocaine while she was pregnant which is what eventually killed her baby.
LaMonica was arrested in May of 2013. She'll be back in court again July 9th.
