Harvesting Hope cyclists make stop in Rockford

A group wheels into Rockford on it's way across the United States.

A group of cyclists set out from Santa Monica, CA on May 25th.   They're en route to Boston to raise awareness and funds for Harvesting Hope.

It's a ministry helping Haitian farmers receive the tools they need to be successful.  Throughout their trip the cyclists will have crossed 13 states and one Canadian province.

Every night they stay with a different church along the way.  To learn about Harvesting Hope head to http://harvesting-hope.org/biketrip/.

The group's trip will wrap up on July 8th.  All in all they'll have biked over 3600 miles from coast to coast.
