Several Softball Players Named All-State


Some area softball players receive some state-wide recognition for their great seasons.

In 2-A, the Illinois Coaches Association named Oregon High School standout Brianna Tourtillott to its third team.

Tourtillott finished the season with a .554 batting average and a .959 fielding percentage.

In 1-A, Milledgeville's Emily Bush and Morgan Adolph were named to the first team after helping the Lady Missiles win a state title.

Dakota star Olivia Zimmerman also got first team honors.

Milledgeville also had Courtney Swalve and Taylor Grenoble named to the second team. Orangeville's Tori Clark joins them with second team honors. Milledgeville's Kayleigh Leddy was named to the third team.
