Autopsy complete on man shot by Beloit police


The autopsy on the man shot by Beloit police Tuesday evening has been completed.

According to the Rock County Coroner's Office, 23-year-old Darrius J. Lowery-Baptiste of Beloit died of multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body. The office has not released the number of wounds, due to the pending investigation.

Lowery-Baptiste was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:59 p.m. on June 11. Final autopsy and toxicological results are pending.
