If you're planning on heading to Denver this fall, you'll have to go to Chicago to catch your flight.
Frontier Airlines will stop service to Denver from the Chicago Rockford International Airport on September 7. Frontier says the route's popularity has not been strong outside of summer. According to financial reports from RFD, the flights make up only about seven percent of passenger activity.
Frontier's parent company Republic Airway is expected to sell the airline this summer.
