12000 homes said to be hit by Oklahoma tornado

Officials in Oklahoma are estimating 12,000 homes were destroyed or damaged by the tornado that ripped through Moore, Oklahoma on Monday.

That number is less than the number originally released. The mayor of Oklahoma City said 13,000 had been affected during a press conference on Wednesday. Authorities believe about 33,000 people were affected.

The damage is estimated to add up to $2 billion.
