Rockford woman reunites with missing service dog

Posted:

MARSTON, MO (WREX) — A Rockford woman has been reunited with her service dog after losing him in Missouri last month.

Debbie Vallejo was driving through Missouri when she stopped at a store to let her dog, Slick, outside. Slick, who Vallejo uses to help keep her balance, ran away. Although Vallejo tried, she could not find him.

She did, however, meet Marston, Missouri resident J.L. Bugg, who told her if he found the dog, he would let her know. A month later, Slick was found near the store where he ran away. Vallejo recently drove back and brought him home.
