A 35-year-old Roscoe man pleaded guilty in federal court to two counts of transporting child pornography via the internet.
Jason Nicoson admitted on May 20 to using the internet to transport images and videos containing multiple visual depictions of minors engaging in sexual conduct. The incidents occurred in December 2011 and January 2012.
Nicoson is scheduled to be sentenced on September 6. He faces a mandatory minimum sentence of five years and a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison. After his imprisonment he will then face a term of supervised release of at least five years and up to life. He also faces a maximum fine of $250,000 for each count against him.
