UPDATED: Area Burger King robbed at gunpoint Sunday morning

Rockford Police say the Burger King on the 2400 block of 11th Street was robbed Sunday morning at gunpoint.

Officers were given a description of the suspect in the crime and the vehicle used to flee the scene.  Patrol officers were then able to find the car in the 2600 block of 20th Avenue.  Persons of interest were taken into custody at that time.

Now, police say 28-year-old Christopher L. Tillman of Janesville is under arrest and charged with armed robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery.

Echo M. Miller, 27 of Rockford was also taken into custody and is being charged with armed robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery.
