Kennedy students help out younger peers

Kennedy Middle School students are racking up volunteer hours at McIntosh School by helping mentor younger students.

Members of Kennedy's Rotary Academy read with students from McIntosh and help provide coaching when necessary. McIntosh's Reading Education Leader Susan Bukove helped train the academy members on how best to help their younger peers.

The program held its final session on Thursday and will resume again in the fall.
