Rock Valley College's Dental Hygiene Program is looking for new patients to receive low-cost preventative services.
Patients who have not had regular dental cleanings for at least five years will receive full oral exams and professional cleanings. However, since the program is educational in nature, several appointments (at three and a half hours each) will be necessary.
The program is also looking for kids between the ages of five and twelve to come in for cleanings.
Students supervised by dental hygiene faculty consisting of registered dental hygienists and dentists will perform the cleanings. Not all patients who call will be seen, based on the time of year and needs of the students.
Additional services available include exams, x-rays, and fluoride. The cost for the services is between $38 and $53 but fees can vary based on each patient's needs.
For more information or to schedule an appointment, call 815-921-3235. The clinic is located in RVC's Stenstrom Center for Career Education, 4151 Samuelson Road.
