St. Paul Lutheran School announces Spring concert


St. Paul Lutheran School is holding it's Spring band Concert.  The concert will be on Sunday, May 19 at 5:00pm in the school's gym.  The concert features the St. Paul Beginning Band, the Concert Band, the Jazz Ensemble and the 8th Grade Ensemble.

This year's concert will feature everything from sacred to marches to pop music.  The students will perform "Three Hymn Medley" which was written and will be directed by St. Paul Alumnus and local musician Robert Rub.  "Three Hymn Medley" is dedicated to Henry Elling, the long-time church musician at St. Paul.

There will be dancing during the Jazz Band performance and the concert will end with "City of Lights", a piece which takes the listener to Paris, France.
