Rockford man arrested on narcotics charges

A 44-year-old Rockford man faces multiple charges after an investigation by the Rockford Police Department's Narcotics Unit resulted in his arrest.

Lee Willy Lilly was arrested at a residence in the 300 block of Fairview Avenue on May 10. Shortly afterward, a search warrant was executed at the residence, resulting in the seizure of 11 bags of suspected crack cocaine, two bags of suspected cannabis, and other items associated with drug trafficking.

Lilly has been charged with the following:

  • Possession with intent to deliver 1-15 grams of cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school
  • Possession of 2.5-10 grams of cannabis
  • Warrant for 2 counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance

According to the Assessor's office, Rockford Development LLC owns the residence in the 300 block of Fairview.
