A Rockford area woman had millions of dollars in her purse for months and didn't even know it. It wasn't cash, but a winning lottery ticket.
Jan Willis bought the ticket last August and said it stayed in her purse for several months before she finally checked it. She had a stack of tickets, but the $6.5 million winner was the first one she checked.
Willis and her fiance Darrel Vincent say they will spend the money to help their kids. The Road Ranger in Roscoe which sold the ticket gets a check for $65,000.
