Two local high school students have teamed up to compete against 78 other teams from the U.S. and Canada in an IT skills competition hosted by Cisco.

Oregon High School's Nathan Egan and Stillman Valley High School's Thomas Winter have made it to the third round of the 2013 NetRiders Skills Competition. The event is open to all high school students currently or recently enrolled in one of Cisco's Close Networking Academy courses.

The competition consists of three rounds and winners from the first through fourth teams received Apple iPads.
