A 27-year-old Rockford man was sentenced to 14 years in prison Friday for delivering drugs in Belvidere.
Salvador Garcia-Martinez was charged with four counts of Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance within 1,000 feet of a Senior Citizen Housing Complex. The Boone County State's Attorney's Office says he delivered a substance containing cocaine to a confidential informant four separate times between January 2012 and March 2012.
The deliveries were made in the parking lot of Belvidere's Pacemaker Shopping Center.
