A Dixon man now has an additional $1 million to his name thanks to a $3,000,000 Cash Jackpot Lottery ticket.
John Bates bought the winning ticket at the Super Pantry on East Everett Street. He said, "I've been feeling really lucky lately and something told me to try this ticket. Last year I won $1,000 on a scratch ticket, and now this!"
Bates, who installs warehouse management software, plans to pay bills, invest, and donate to his favorite charities with the cash. The Super Pantry will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the ticket.
