7 killed in Afghanistan aircraft crash

KABUL, Afghanistan (WREX) — According to the U.S.-led military coalition, seven civilian crew members died Monday when a cargo aircraft crashed at Bagram Air Field in Afghanistan.

Although the Taliban claimed responsibility for the crash, the military coalition told the Associated Press that statement was not true and no militant activity took place at the time of the crash.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
