Rockford woman arrested for stabbing

ROCKFORD (WREX) -

A Rockford woman is behind bars after allegedly stabbing another female early Monday morning.

Police responded to the 1000 block of Oakley Avenue just before 2:00 a.m. Once there, they found an adult female with a single stab wound to the chest. Investigation showed the victim got into an argument with 45-year-old Kimberly St. Junious.

St. Junious allegedly stabbed the victim with a knife during the argument. She was arrested and charged with Aggravated Domestic Battery. The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
