Man honored in retirement for second time from aviation

When money comes in between a retiring veteran and a proper, traditional celebration, his son steps in to do things the right way.

Retired United States Air Force veteran John Shockey already retired from active duty military service.   Now he's retiring from his aviation career.

Although low funding doesn't enable retiring pilots to be washed in champagne and given a grand gesture any longer, Shockey's son is keeping some of the traditions.
