Boston bombing suspect said next target was Times Square

According to New York City officials, the next target of the suspects in the Boston Marathon bombings was Times Square.

Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly spoke Thursday, saying Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev had five pipe bombs and a pressure cooker bomb they wanted to detonate in Times Square.

They said the surviving suspect, Dzhokhar, revealed the spontaneous plan to investigators from his hospital bed in Boston.

Tamerlan died Thursday in an exchange of gunfire with police.
