ROCKFORD (WREX) -

Two men have been arrested for burglary after allegedly burglarizing a murdered man's storage shed.

The items were taken from a shed belonging to William S. Presley, who was found shot to death in his garage at 1421 LaBelle Avenue on March 24. His murderer has not yet been found.

Presley owned a large storage shed at 1420 Blue Ridge, near his property. Sometime after his death, it was found the shed had been burglarized.

Eighteen-year-old James M. Gallagher and 21-year-old Jeremy O. Clarke have both been arrested and charged with burglary and property has been recovered. There is no indication that the burglary and the murder of Presley are linked.

Anyone with any information on Presley's murder is encouraged to call the Winnebago County Sheriff's Department at 815-319-6400 or CrimeStoppers at 815-963-7867.
