KICKOFF WEEKEND: The Bears own 53 opening-day victories overall (53-35-5, .597), the most by any NFL franchise. Chicago has won four of their last five opening-day contests.
BEARS OPEN AT HOME FOR FOURTH CONSECUTIVE YEAR: The Bears open the regular season schedule at home for the fourth straight year, hosting the Cincinnati Bengals. The contest marks the first time since the 1993-96 seasons that Chicago will open the season in front of their home fans in four-straight campaigns.  
                Of Chicago's last 20 season openers at home dating back to 1984, the Bears are 17-3 (.850).
This will mark just the second time that the Bears opened their season versus Cincinnati. The first came in 1989 when Chicago beat Cincinnati, 17-10, at Soldier Field.
BEARS WILL PLAY FIRST TWO CONTESTS AT HOME: The Chicago Bears will open their season at home on Sunday, September 8th vs. Cincinnati before hosting the Minnesota Vikings in Week 2 on Sunday, September 15th, marking the first time since 1999 that the Monsters of the Midway opened the regular season with two consecutive home games.
BEARS BATTLE TEAMS FROM NFC EAST & AFC NORTH DIVISIONS: Chicago will square off against all four teams from the NFC East and
AFC North this season.
Chicago will host the N.Y. Giants (Week 6, NFLN's Thursday Night Football) and Dallas Cowboys (Week 14, ESPN's Monday Night Football) in primetime, while traveling to Washington (Week 7) and Philadelphia (Week 16). The Bears are 95-69-4 all-time against teams for the NFC East (.577). Chicago last faced all four teams from the NFC East in 2010, going 2-2 in those contests.
The Bears will travel to Pittsburgh (Week 3) and Cleveland (Week 15) while hosting Cincinnati (Week 1) and Baltimore (Week 11). Chicago is 30-24-4 (.552) all-time against teams from the AFC North. Chicago last faced all four teams from the AFC North in 2009, going 2-2 in those contests.
BEARS SCHEDULED TO PLAY FOUR GAMES IN PRIMETIME: The Bears are scheduled to make four appearances on primetime television during the 2013 regular season. Chicago went 2-3 in primetime during the 2012 regular season on NFLN's Thursday Night Football (0-1), NBC's Sunday Night Football (0-1), ESPN's Monday Night Football (2-1).
                The Bears first primetime contest of the 2013 season is Week 3 at Pittsburgh on NBC's Sunday Night Football. In Week 6, the Bears will host the New York Giants on NFL Network's Thursday Night Football.
Chicago plays two regular season contests on ESPN's Monday Night Football: Week 9 at Green Bay and Week 14 vs. Dallas.
                Chicago is also set to play in a nationally-televised preseason game at Soldier Field vs. the San Diego Chargers on Thursday, August 15 on ESPN.
                The Bears are 25-35 all time on Monday Night Football (14-11 at home; 11-24 on the road); 13-19 on Sunday Night Football (5-9 at home; 8-10 on the road) and 4-4 on Thursday Night Football (1-0 at home; 3-4 on the road)
BEARS SET TO TRAVEL 10,880 MILES DURING 2013 SEASON:  The Bears will travel 10,880 miles during the 2013 season. Chicago's longest trip during the season is to Oakland (3,670 miles round-trip).
